Surfer rides record breaking 78 ft wave

Garrett McNamara, 44 yrs old from Hawaii has broken the world record for surfing this enormous wave in Portugal. The giant wave, generated by an infamous underwater canyon off the coast of Portugal was caught on camera. Experts analysed the video and calculated the height by comparing it with McNamara's known height, his height in crouch and interestingly the length of his shin bone.
