The highs and lows of saving and sailing Gipsy Moth IV

Paul Gelder, editor of Yachting Monthly spearheaded the project to restore Gipsy Moth IV. It was no small task - she was in pretty poor state and the total cost mounted to £1million. Hear Paul talk to Radio 4's John McCarthy about his experiences with Gipsy Moth IV including his boyhood visit to the boat, the restoration project 40 years later and his eyewitness account of rescuing this sailing icon after she was wrecked on a reef in Tahiti.
