GETTING THE JACKET RIGHT by David Palmer
How many people does it take to get the right image for a book jacket? Last Friday saw a fine collaborative on the water in Chichester Harbour to get that perfect image.
Left to right are:
Tom Cunliffe, author of Inshore Navigation and Coastal and Offshore Navigation who is writing new editions of those books.
Malcolm White, ace photographer.
Peter White, Seafever Training, author of Powerboating who drove the photoboat.
Robert Hughes from Northshore who very kindly laid on a wonderful Southerly 110.
Having cancelled on Thursday to let the storm that caused the surgealong the east coast pass, we had the perfect day for photography, sailing in F4/5/6 in the sunshine out past East Head and back toItchenor. The results speak for themselves and I'll post the fulljackets once they are complete.
