WILEY NAUTICAL ROWING TEAM WIN BOATSHOW REGATTA

Rowing

Okay, I lied. The actual Wiley nautical team are sailors, not rowers. Our spindley sailing publisher frames would probably snap if presented with anything resembling manual labour. The Wiley Nautical Rowing team ( put together for the earls Court Boat Show rowing competition) was in fact drawn from the robust lads and lasses of the Langstone Rowing Club.

Langstone Rowing Club will be making their way to Paris in a 34 foot long, six oared, fixed seat, traditional Thames Waterman Cutter rowing boat - in aid of the Langstone Lifesavers fund. To learn more visit: http://www.langstonecutters.com/

We weaker types at Wiley Nautical are proud to sponser this valiant effort and will be proving the team with the Wiley Nautical Weather Reports throughout the training.  If you  want fast and accurate marine weather forecasts delivered direct to your mobile or PC click here

The Langstone Rowers are deep in training to row from London to Paris so trouncing the Earls Court Boat Show Rowing Competition and rowing 1000m in 3mins 58.5 seconds proved to be no problem. Just imagine how fast they'd have rowed without the false moustaches. Or at least I hope they're false.
